Fresh for Spring: Top Flowers to Welcome the Season

Spring has sprung in Cambridge! There is no better way to celebrate the season of renewal than with fresh spring flowers. At Expressions, we are embracing longer days and a colourful range of bouquets, flower bags and posies. Here are our favourite blooms to welcome the warmer weather.

Our favourite spring flowers

Spring blooms are all about freshness, softness and joy. Many also have a beautiful scent.

• Tulips are a true classic. Their sleek stems and many colours add elegance to any bouquet.
• Daffodils say spring like nothing else. Their sunny faces lift any room.
• Freesias are delicate and sweetly fragrant, so they add a romantic touch.
• Ranunculus have layered petals and rich colours that bring texture and charm.
• Hyacinths and iris are striking to look at, and they fill a room with scent.

Fresh designs for every occasion

We love creating arrangements that capture the spirit of the season. For example, you might be celebrating a birthday or sending a thank-you. Alternatively, you might simply want to refresh your home. In each case, our spring designs are made with care and creativity. Browse our bouquets to see what is available this week.

Make your gift extra special

Flowers are lovely on their own. Even so, a small extra makes them memorable. That is why many customers add a candle, a diffuser or a hand cream. Similarly, chocolates and keepsakes complete the gift.

Caring for spring blooms

Spring stems are often soft, so they drink a lot of water. Therefore, top up the vase every day. Also, keep tulips away from fruit, because it shortens their life. Finally, recut the stems every few days.
