Flowers in Cambridge NZ: What $50, $75 and $125 Buys
At Expressions a single red rose is $20, posies and flower boxes start at $75, and long-stemmed bouquets run from $125 to $250. Delivery is $15 in Cambridge and $20 in Hamilton, and our typical order comes to about $100 with delivery. Here is what each budget for flowers in Cambridge NZ actually gets you.
Under $50
A single red rose, gift wrapped with foliage, is $20. A rose cube, a small block of roses in a cube vase, is $49. These suit a thank you, a desk, a first date or a quiet apology. Add $15 delivery in Cambridge, or collect from the shop at no charge.
Around $75
This is where most people start for a birthday or a get-well. A posy box or flower box is $75: fresh seasonal flowers arranged in a box with its own water container, so no vase is needed. Half a dozen roses in black wrap is also $75. With delivery in Cambridge the total is $90.
Around $100 to $125
Our most common order lands here once delivery is added. The larger sizes of flower box run to $120 and $150. A long-stemmed bouquet in pink, red, yellow or white starts at $125 and goes up to $250 for the biggest. A classic dozen red roses is $135.
What changes with the budget
More money buys more stems and bigger blooms, not better flowers. Every order, from the $20 rose up, is made from the same morning’s stock by the same senior florist. If you tell us the budget and the occasion, we will design to it, and we will say so if a particular flower is short that week and suggest what is good instead.

Ordering tips that save money
Order by 12pm for same-day delivery rather than paying for a courier elsewhere. Choose a flower box if the recipient will not have a vase handy. Order early in the week for Hamilton, since we do not deliver there at the weekend. And if you are not sure what to choose, ring us on 07 823 0119 and say the budget: that is the easiest way to get the most flowers for it.
