How to order funeral flowers

1. Call us on 07 823 0119 or visit us at 57 Victoria Street, Cambridge.
2. Tell us the name of the funeral home or the family’s address, and the date and time of the service.
3. Let us know your budget and any colours or flowers that were special to the person.
4. Give us the wording for your card. We’ll write it by hand and attach it to your flowers.

Types of funeral flowers in Cambridge

• Wreath: a circle of flowers representing eternal life, usually displayed on a stand at the service. A formal wreath is tightly arranged in a symmetrical design. An informal wreath is looser, with a more natural, garden feel. Our wreath is $165.
• Casket spray: the arrangement placed on top of the casket, usually ordered by the immediate family.
• Tribute or sheaf: a flat, hand-tied arrangement laid beside the casket or at the graveside.
• Sympathy bouquet: flowers sent to the family’s home, before or after the service. Many people prefer this, as the family can enjoy the flowers at home. See our bouquets.
• Sympathy plant: a long-lasting reminder, such as our peace lily ($55).
• Single stems: family members sometimes place a single rose on the casket. A single red rose is $20.

White lilies, white roses and soft greenery are traditional and always appropriate. Many families now ask for bright, cheerful colours to celebrate a life well lived, so don’t be afraid to choose the person’s favourite flowers or colours. If you’re unsure, tell us a little about them and we’ll suggest something fitting.

We deliver to funeral homes and homes in Cambridge ($15), Hamilton ($20) and Cambridge rural areas ($25). Monday to Friday, orders placed by 12pm can usually be delivered the same day. For Saturday services, please order by Friday. See our delivery details.

Funeral flower questions

Is it OK to send flowers to the family’s home instead of the funeral?

Yes. A bouquet or plant sent to the home is a thoughtful gesture, and the family can enjoy it for longer.

What if the family has asked for donations instead of flowers?

Respect their wishes and give to the charity they’ve chosen. You could send a small bouquet to the home a week or two later, when the support has quietened down.

How late can I order funeral flowers?

For same-day delivery, order by 12pm Monday to Friday. For larger arrangements such as wreaths and casket sprays, please give us at least one day’s notice.
